In my spare
time (or what is left of it) I enjoy making music on the computer and doing
remixes for bands that I like, under the name Here Comes Trouble. Tracks I’ve done
have been played on the radio in England, played in nightclubs from Melbourne
to Germany, printed to CD, put up on MySpace sites and included on iTunes remix
albums. Admittedly all this hasn’t happened with any great frequency, but
that’s all you can expect when you don’t have much time to put into it (oh, and
a general lack of musical talent).
I also DJ
occasionally, but I’ve only had time to do that one since Bennett was born… had
fun with it though!
Here Comes Trouble Myspace
– contains 4 Here Comes Trouble songs for you to download in MP3 format.
In 2004 I recorded a cover of the
Carter USM track “Evil” for inclusion on a tribute album called The Music That
Nobody Likes. Click here
for details of the album and some 30 second MP3 snippets of tracks from the
album. Also in 2004 I did some remixes of a song called “Child Of The 80s” by a
fantastic band called Spray. Two of
these remixes, the Here Comes Trouble 12” and Goodnight Electrolite mixes have
been included on a iTunes remix album called “Electrified,
Synthetisized, Modified” which you can purchase and download over the
Internet if you have a computer fast enough to support iTunes, which sadly, I
don’t.
In 2006, I recorded a track called Alternative Alf
Garnett for another Carter tribute CD called Rubbish. You can download the
entire song here.
If you fancy doing a remake of a classic Carter USM tune yourself, find out how
to get involved on the website. Also, late
in 2006 I recorded a couple of remixes for Chris Chinchilla of his song AAA.
